Hi, I’m just trying to get started but it just refuses to get past this.

    My log:

    2014-04-12T22:31:02
Info: ReconstructMe SDK running version 1.6.817-88640

    2014-04-12T22:31:04
    Info: Auto-tuned volume resolution set to {256,128,128}

    2014-04-12T22:31:04
Info: Auto-tuned volume truncation to 39.063

    2014-04-12T22:31:04
Info: Auto-tuned enabled depthmap/colormap erosion due to color support

    2014-04-12T22:31:04
Info: Setting up for device GeForce 8800 GTS (NVIDIA Corporation) running version 335.23

Says its all working fine but no matter what, it does not work.

I have tried manual selection of the video card and auto but neither seem to work. The card does support CUDA so i’m not sure what’s going on. Can you please help.

    Windows 8 X64, 12Gb RAM, Xeon E5506

    Hi Andrew,

how long did you wait for the setup to complete? Note that changing values in between will re-trigger compiling a new setup. Could you try to wait for at max 3 minutes (note that this is normally not necessary. On average it takes 5-10 seconds) without doing anything?

    Thanks,
    Christoph

I left it for over an hour.

    Andrew,

thanks for the info. It seems like you are running the latest driver as well. I’d assume this is an issue in Reme and your particular card. Do you have access to a different card to try?

    Best,
    Christoph

same here, can’t get past the “setup is updating” state. seems to be a common issue that needs to be addressed!!! but obviously, none of the people that reported that error have found a solution, or at least they never posted about it.
