    Hello,

I’m trying to get ReconstructME working but everytime I start the program is says “SETUP IS UPDATING” and then crashes with a “ReconstructMEQt.exe Has Stopped Working” error message.

    My specs:
    Windows 8.1 PRO 64bit
    NVIDIA GTS 250
    Using the newest drivers
    Xbox 360 Kinect Model 1414

    Please advise.

    Hi,

could you please lookup your logs in Documents / My ReconstructMe / Logs and tell us if you find anything interesting in there?

    Matthew

All the logs produce this on crash. Doesn’t seem to be anything out of the ordinary.

    Hi Matthew,

are you running the latest display driver?

Thanks Matthew, we will try to reproduce. It sounds like OpenCL compilation is not completing.

Thanks for the report Kevin, we will look into that. Might well be that the OpenCL compiler never finishes.

    Hi,
I am having the same problem like Kris, with:
    Windows 7 x64
    Core 2 Duo 2.2ghz
Nvidia Geforce G102M (Using 337.88 drivers, latest at the moment)

Reconstructme stops working and Win 7 indicates:
    Problemereignisname: APPCRASH
    Anwendungsname: ReconstructMeQt.exe
    Anwendungsversion: 2.1.348.0
    Anwendungszeitstempel: 535908c2
    Fehlermodulname: nvopencl.dll
I bought extra a gtx 9800 in order to use 360 kinect as a scanner but only skanecet works fine…
    Any help apreciated …

    Happy_if_it_works

    Hi,
under which configuration have you tested the gtx 9800? I´ve tryed two different pc´s and both show the above described problem (crash). I am not able to run this program despite having spent so much money to buy the components. I wish I should have gone for the kinect for windows…

    #13265

    JCEngineer

Yep, same problem here. Open Reconstructme up, it says ‘Setup is updating’ in the corner, then crashes with the message ‘ReconstructmeQt.exe has stopped working’

I’m using Windows 7 with an Nvidia Quadro FX 1700 card, and just updated the driver to version 9.18.13.4066, dated 04/08/2014. I’m confused with you guys saying it’s an OpenCL issue, as my GoPro studio software didn’t work properly before I updated to this card driver verison, and GoPro were telling me it was because of an OpenCL issue. But now with this driver, the GoPro software works fine?

I’m also using an Xbox Kinect, with the SDK v1.8 software.

    Please help!

    Same,
    Windows7-64
first no OpenCL, upgraded, then Bex error, solved through CMD code from a weird youtube video, to become an AppCrash.

    Hi Chirstophe Heindl
I have the same issue and I don’t know why: it appears when lauching Reconstruct me “Setup is updating”, then crushes and appears the Windows log ReconstructMEQt.exe Has Stopped Working.

I run with Intel Core 2 Duo 3gb of RAM and a Nvidia GeForce 8400m GS GPU. Are they compatible with your program and OpenCL?

    Here is my last log:

I’ve tried to do any thing I found on Internet: installing Microsoft SDK, Runtime and Kinect Drivers twice (first 1.6 and then 1.8) then unisntalling them and installing PrimeSense (OpenNI 1.5 and 2.2, Sensor Kinect , Nite 1.5, etc) but still not working!!

I have tried to launch NITE samples and work perfectly – following my gestures.

Could you or anyone help me please? Maybe I should follow a different installation path or I had some driver left…

    Thank you very much!!

I also tried with Admin and no luck. Still getting the “…stopped working” error and closes the program. Has anyone figured this out yet?
