    Christoph Kopf
Hi, i'm a Software Engineer at Profactor GmbH and work on ReconstructMe since its birth.

  • Shana

It keeps saying a verson of this software is already installed and it’s not. I’ve also rebooted. I’ve uninstalled all drivers. QT won’t install. Keeps rolling back.

  • Shana

Had to install reconstructme sdk and then uninstall it. Then it worked.

    • Christoph Heindl

Shana, thanks for noting. This is a bug in our installers to be fixed today

  • Jason

    Works pretty well.
Its just the “Loses camera track in periodic intervals” period is too short to do anything other than taking still photo :/ Kinda lost the purpose of open source it.
    But still, fantastic job done!

    • Christoph Heindl

did you try 1.0.35? It has a longer scanner period. However, you just need to hold still for a moment when it looses track it will find it again. Best Christoph

Peter, the sensor is found, but you don’t own a GPU that supports OpenCL. In case you think you do, update your display drivers.

  • Fredrik

Nice program… But it hangs on my computer, I get the window with the software initializing and then it hangs… Install is ok acording to your installer. I’m using w7 permium swedish, the console version works fine, what can i do to get the program to work as it should?4

    • Christoph Heindl

      What sensor are you using?

  • darrel

would be awesome if it installed…haha

  • Imran

it just stucks on sensor initialization forever.

  • BULL

The non commercial version on your software is absolute bull shit. “the camera lost track due to the use of a non commercial version.?” Are you kidding me? If you are going to blatantly use kinect fusion and charge money for it at least make the non commercial version USABLE.

Hi, thanks for your criticism. Unfortunately we have to somehow pay our bills, or else ReconstructMe would not exist at all. We had heated discussions about this limitation, but in the end decided to put it in. You can still try the console version which does not have this limitation.

      • Dan

Thanks for the response, and apologies if I was a bit rude. However, I wasn’t really questioning the fact that you charge for the software at all. I have no qualms with that and I would be a hypocrite if I did. On the subject of the limitation in question though, I do imagine that it was a hard decision and can understand the reasoning behind that. By console version do you mean the version that is included with just the sdk and thus is run via the console? I will certainly try this out.
